Kiln dried logs are just what they say, quality hardwood logs that have been 'baked' in a kiln this ensures the lowest possible moisture content so they burn hotter and are ready to use immediately. They are more expensive than air dried logs, but as the moisture content is lower it minimises the build-up of tar in your chimney.

The size of the logs you need completely depends on the size of your fireplace both kiln dried and air dried logs are available in a variety of sizes from 20 to 40cm.

Dry logs are important and our kiln dried logs are perfect - These are available in a barrow bag if space is limited as they can be wheeled on a wheelbarrow to your wood-store; a Bulk Bag (which is a builders dumpy bag) or a loose load.
